Berg create really innovative projects, i think their work works well because of the compositions and formats they use with each brief. Generally their work is sophisticated, and i like the attention to detail with their branding projects such as the stamps and the use of multimedia to distribute their clients brands and images.

Brunswicker

I am really interested in the work that Brunswicker produce, its interesting because of the experimental layouts they produce as well as the quality they achieve in their work. I think that portray really interesting concepts throughout their work and the attention to detail is something i stove to achieve in my work. 

Portfolio Surgery Chris Jackson - Elmwood

Today i had my first portfolio surgery with Chris Jackson from Elmwood. It was helpful, just simple things like knocking back the text so that it doesn't de-tract from the images being shown. Make sure all the typos are fixed, and that i need to make sure the images tell a story so as to best explain what it being viewed.
I also managed to send through some questions for my dissertation, that was something that i wanted to try and get out of it because it would be good to get a professionals perspective.

We wanted to mir­ror their green phi­los­o­phy in the iden­tity with a strong sym­bol in a green land­scape, using few print col­ors and recy­cled paper stock."

What I like about them is there ability to push their branding products through the media they use. They utilise print finishes to deliver high quality textured work, and use the content and style of the company to drive their design. the use of simplistic type and layout only enhances their clean design work.
